Having your own email address extension
In today's business there is always a question that arises. Do you suggest anything to others that present an email address that is not true to their business name. We have all seen them... skydog3$@&kYjjk.com; nightwalker@Gdu$3s.com; bubba@Ao#k&$.com
What would you do? Are you one of them?
Lets look at it this way... Do you show up to a meeting wearing pajamas? I hope not. Proper email addresses should be something taken a little bit more serious as we are all in business for success. One suggestion... Forgo those conglomorant email account such as aol, yahoo, gmail, and hotmail for work life and careers. Go for the professional business attire—get yourself a unique email account that shows you are ready to do business.
Many companies do have email extension. A few examples: @ufl.edu; @meistermedia.com; @congru.com
You get the picture. think about what your web address is and go with that. Our company URL is www.congru.com; guess what our company email addresses are. They are This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Do this and remove any confusion as to who you are, what you do, and how professional you will be in business. Some may argue that the use of names such as " This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it " is good to go with. I still ask the question. Who are you in business for? The domain giants or yourself? If you want to build a brand that is recognizable get your own URL and email.
