Being a one-person public relations and development shop and charged with coming up with a "look" to represent our brand new library was the most difficult challenge I have ever faced. I needed to create new brochures, a new Web site, giveaways and much more in anticipation of our grand opening. After a few visits to the library (which was still being built!), Rich came up with a design that incorporated the tradition of the old library with the modern look and color of the new building. Recognizing my need to have a logo/image that was flexible enough to use in a variety of ways, Rich created an image that I have been able to seamlessly incorporate in many ways - including bookmarks, a Web site, brochures, library cards, bags, newsletters, ads, pens and letterhead. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the whole process took from start to finish. Rich and I discussed the farms goals and what we wanted the product to achieve. I shared some examples of our past packaging and those of the produce industry. Rich provided me with several ideas and when I had picked one he refined it while working with the farm and packaging company on color, sizes, and last minute production changes.
